I. FOREIGNERS’ STUDYING AT THE PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

   Studying at the preparatory department of the Russian language is necessary for being accepted to any university of the Republic of Belarus. After successful graduating from the preparatory department applicants receive the certificate and then they are accepted at the chosen faculty. The cost of the studying at the preparatory department of the Russian language is 1100 USD per a year.
   The studying at the preparatory department lasts for a year.
   Academic year is divided into two terms. At the end of each term students have to take examinations.
   Session :

Winter — on the 3 rd of January and lasts till the 25 th of January

Summer — on the 5 th of June and lasts till the 24 th of June.
After each session students have holidays.
The students, who study at the preparatory department of the University, are not allowed to leave the Republic of Belarus during their holidays.

   After graduating foreign students are given diplomas of international model.
   There are two course: daily and correspondence.
   Studies last for 5 years (daily).
   The courses are paid, the cost is 1600 USD per year.

III. THE SECOND HIGHER EDUCATION

For getting the second Higher Education the University accepts people who have diplomas of Higher Education (successive training) and students of Higher Educational Establishments (three-year, four-year, five-year) who have only good and excellent marks (simultaneous training).

   Foreigners who want to be accepted the University for getting the second Higher Education must provide the University with the same documents as for being accepted to the preparatory department or the main faculties of the University. In addition, an applicant must provide the University with:
    The copy of the diploma of Higher Education and its supplements. The students of the last courses must place at the disposal the rector’s consent (at the University-the Dean’s consent) in written form from the place of main studies and academic certificate with a stamp.
   The passport and diploma are given to the University by an applicant himself.
   The course of studies is correspondence.
   The course lasts for 3 years.
   The course is paid.
   After successful graduating foreigners get the diploma of international model with the conferment of Higher Education and corresponding qualification.

IV. THE SECOND SPECIALITY ON THE BASIS OF HIGHER EDUCATION

The foreigners’ admission for getting the second speciality on the basis of Higher Education is carried out for the following specialities (correspondence course):

   Foreigners with Higher Education and foreign students of Higher Educational Establishments (only students of final courses) are admitted to the University for getting the second speciality on the basis of Higher Education.
   Applicants for being accepted to the University for getting the second speciality must give or send to the University the same documents as for being admitted to the preparatory courses. And in addition they must provide the University with the following documents:

The copy of the diploma of Higher Education with its supplements;

The copy of credit book certified by the authorities of the Educational Establishment.
The studies last for 2 years, the course is paid.
After graduating students are given diplomas of international model with the conferment of corresponding qualification.

V. STUDIES AT THE MAGISTRACY

   Only those foreigners, who have the necessary level of education, are admitted (according to the law of the Republic of Belarus and international contracts).
   At the magistracy the following specialities are available:

World Economics;

Finances, currency circulation and credit;

Economics and management at national economy;

Accounting, statistics;

Commodity research and examination of foodstuffs and technology of canteen feeding;

Commodity research and examination of industrial goods and raw materials of industry;

Management of social and economic systems.
   At our university there are both courses: correspondence and daily.
   Studies last for 1 year (daily), and 1 year and 6 months (correspondence).
   The course is paid.

VI. STUDIES AT THE POST-GRADUATE COURSE

   To the post-graduate course only those foreigners, who have the diploma of magistracy, are admitted.
   Specialities:

Economics and management at national economy (in different spheres: economics, organization and management at an enterprise, branches and complexes);

Finances, currency circulation and credit;

Accounting, statistics;

Commodity research and examination of foodstuffs and technology of canteen feeding;

Commodity research and examination of industrial goods and raw materials of industry.
   Entrance examinations: special subject, philosophy, foreign language (people who have already passed bachelor’s examinations in philosophy and foreign language are allowed not to take entrance examinations).
   There are two course:

Daily course — lasts for 3 years. For a foreigner, who does not speak Russian, the course can be prolonged from 3 years to 4 years.

Correspondence course — lasts for 4 years. Only those foreigners, who have all the necessary conditions for scientific work at their residence, are admitted the correspondence course of the post-graduate education. The student must provide the University with the report about his scientific work every year, he also must pass examinations (tests) by the date that is confirmed in his individual plan of preparations. The duration of the studies is determined by the University.
   The course is paid.
